What I Do
As a sculpture and installation artist, most of my work revolves around form.

Like many artists, I wear many different hats- some for profit, some for pleasure. I’m an artist, technician, producer, aspiring curator, programme administrator and retail assistant

I love objects- tangible, tactile objects. Most of my work revolves around form, I make sculptures, metalwork and textiles usually. But when space and budget don’t allow (or I just fancy it) I’m print mad. Lino, screen printing, risograph printing, cyanotypes. I love them all.

My work is often born out of an obsession with something, an investigation into a concept or shape. Memesis (to imitate) is a word nearly always present in my head when creating. Communication is often a big part of this, to communicate is to change… or is it?

Now I’m living back home in North Nottinghamshire, my bedroom is once again my studio. I’ve been enjoying getting crafty and making Christmas cards, valentines for a lucky few, and throwing myself into the production of exhibitions and community projects. My own artwork has taken a backseat.

In late 2025, I took a jewellery making class with Nottingham Jewellery School (the best) and years of admiration for jewellers was turned into action, I LOVED it. Although the course has now come to an end, I’m looking at ways to revive my 3D practice having been inspired by the small but mighty creations of the many wonderful souls that pass through NJS.

I hope to create, produce, curate and make until the cows come home this year!
